Finding Aids OnlineSelected finding aids (collection inventories) are now available at this site. These aids represent only a portion of the unpublished records available for use at the WSHS Research Center. The creation of finding aids is a very time-consuming task, and the staff continues to work on completing additional inventories for the entire collection. View a list of the finding aids currently available online Finding aids are guides to manuscript collections, describing and listing primary sources. A finding aid usually includes the following information:
Manuscript collections range in size from a single diary or letter to thousands of pages of correspondence. They include both personal papers created by an individual and records generated by a company or organization. Additional information pertaining to our manuscript collections, photocopy and research charges can be obtained by contact the WSHS Research Center. Our staffing is limited and it is not possible to complete extensive research to locate and identify sources or photocopy large quantities of materials. Staff research charges ($30.00 minimum charge) apply to most non-Washington resident inquiries. All e-mail inquiries should be routed to us using the Research Inquiry Form. |
