Usage Fee - (in addition to print costs)
Usage fees apply to photographs which are published in any book, magazine calendar, non-print media, etc. or which are used for displays, advertising purposes, etc.
All revenue generated by the photographic services beyond the cost of production will be used to maintain the photo archives and are levied in accordance with RCW 27.34.070.1(g) which instructs the Society to be increasingly self-supporting.

RESEARCH CHARGES (Mail, Web/E-mail, and Telephone Requests)
In-State Requests - No charge or the first hour of research time. Additional research charged at the rate of $15.00 per hour. (2 hour maximum)
Out of State Requests - The minimum charge is $30.00 per hour for up to one hour of research with up to a maximum of 15 photocopies included. Additional research time prorated at the rate of $30.00 per hour. (2 hour maximum if time permits.)
All WSHS members are charged the in-state research rate regardless of residence.
Please note that research charges are in addition to mailing and large quantity photocopying charges.
